Going through a Divorce is a very troubling and confusing time of your life. If you were served with papers, you only have 20 days to file a response. If you fail to do so, your spouse can get a default against you, and may get what they are asking for. Don’t let this happen to you!

There are many time sensitive requirements that you will encounter. I will try to work with you and your financial situation to make this affordable for you.

Many believe they can handle a divorce on their own. However, many will call me after the fact to undo a mess they created. Don’t take your spouse’s word for it that you can see your children whenever you want to. Don’t sign a Deed and put it solely into your spouses name. In fact, DON’T SIGN ANYTHING AT ALL, without speaking to me first.

Unless your rights are properly put in writing and recorded in the court records, you are in danger of losing those rights. I often see clients trying to undo a situation that they hastily agreed to in order to save money. Many times, those agreements you made, without counsel’s advice, now require a substantial and material life change in order to modify the agreement. Don’t let that happen to you.

I am an experienced criminal law trial attorney with over 32 years experience aggressively defending adult and juvenile clients in all types of felony and misdemeanor charges. Those include, among others, Murder, Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery, Armed Burglary, all Sex Crimes, Drug Trafficking and Possession, Domestic Violence, Grand Theft., Violations of Probation and bond hearings. Before I became a criminal attorney, I was a police officer from 1981 to 1989, and a former assistant state attorney from 1992 to 1995.
